One reason I process in my home studio…..
One frequent question I get is, “Where do you process placentas?”
My answer is always in my home studio. Few clients ask if I can do it in their home. I prefer not to do that and what happened today is my main reason I feel that way.
My Excalibur, the main dehydrator I use, died!!! It died while it was working. If I had left it at someone’s home to process I would not know. The placenta could have been sitting not drying for hours and hours before it was noticed and then it would be ruined. The encapsulation would not be able to be finished. Since, I’m here with it I can check it consistently. I was able to transfer the placenta into my back up dehydrator(a Nesco) immediately. No harm done and Mama will be able to get the benefits of her placenta.
