Placenta Keepsake Prints and Art

I love being able to add a little bit of artistic flair to the basic placenta print.   Either way is beautiful.  I love the unique print every placenta gives.   I love how you can see the vessels twisting and turning, it tells a story of all it’s hard work during it’s time of purpose.   It amazing that even after birth, it can continue working by nourishing the mother by replacing what was lost.

Prints are a lovely way to honor the placenta.    Prints can by framed, added to a shadow box or scrapbook.  I also offer them on stretched canvas that can be hung as is.

I often get asked if I do color prints.  The answer is No.  The reason is I don’t want to disturb the integrity of the placenta.  I’m not even comfortable with food based coloring.  Aside from that, placentas are not colorful.  I like prints that are natural.   I do love adding color around the print to enhance the print.
